Automatic Systems
Automatic Systems’ speed gates are BIS (Biometric Identification Systems) compatible, allowing for seamless identification and access. By seamlessly integrating biometric authentication technology into the SlimLane speed gates, users do not need to stop or carry badges, therefore increasing throughput rate. BIS readers and lights are installed inside SlimLane and work via software or dry contacts. Users are pre-enrolled with biometrics and validated as they approach the gates. SlimLane opens automatically when authorized individuals walk through. In cases of attempted fraud or tailgating an alarm is generated.
Allegion
Von Duprin’s concealed vertical cable (CVC) exit devices, which install in minutes, have been tested to have a design rating of +/- 75 pounds per square foot with a large missile impact, thus meeting the Florida Building Code requirements for hurricane wind protection. Instead of installing and adjusting vertical rods, the flexible cable latching system is inserted and secured into the door before the exit device is mounted. Once the latches are secured in the top and bottom of the door, the exit device is attached to the center slide of cable system. Only one point of adjustment is required.
Rutherford Controls
Rutherford Controls (DORMA Group) now has a 0563 ½" Rim Strike. The slim, adjustable design of this new strike makes it a good solution for tight-fitting installations. This strong, durable surface mounted (no frame cutting required) strike is designed to work will Pullman latch rim exit devices and most door frame materials. A low-energy, auto-sensing (0.01A,12-24VDC) strike, the 0563 runs cool in use. It includes two 1/8" spacers to create two additional sizes, 5/8" and 3/4". The strike is made of high-grade stainless steel.
Delta Scientific
Delta’s new HD300 barrier, available with either a fully electric or hydraulic control unit, will stop a 15,000 pound (66.7 Km) vehicle traveling 50 mph (80 kpm). Upon impact, the barrier remains in its foundation and the opening stays blocked, providing a multiple hit capability. In its M50 crash test, the HD300 completely disabled the test vehicle, causing severe damage to the occupant department and power train. The P1 penetration rating was given because the penetration beyond the protected side of the barrier was less than 1.0 m at the lower leading edge of the test vehicle’s cargo bed.
