Synectics has launched a range of high performance HD IP camera solutions to suit a wide variety of application needs and sectors. Models include compact vandal resistant domes (VRDs), in-ceiling domes (ICDs), box cameras, bullet cameras and a selection of new PTZ cameras with improved True WDR. All cameras in the line-up deliver a minimum HDTV 1080p/2MP quality with full frame rate of 50/60 fps and feature the latest Sony sensor technology for improved low-light and daylight performance - ideal for capturing movement detail. Toshiba America
Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. introducted its first “Ultra HD” IP video surveillance cameras, the IKS-WB9518, able to capture 4K video in 3840 x 2160 resolution at a rate of 25 frames per second. By offering Ultra HD resolution, the IKS-WB9518 provides the high level of detail required for an enterprise to more effectively watch for intruders, capture fast moving objects, monitor large expansive areas, and assist in collecting forensic evidence when a crime has occurred. Additionally, its deployment can reduce the number of conventional HD cameras needed by nearly 50 percent due to its ability to cover very wide spaces.
Salient Systems
Salient’s RED3 Integrated Server combines client, server and switch in one unit. The built-in Class 3 PoE/PoE+ switch provides up to 24 ports of connectivity with up to a 487-watt power budget. RED3 IS is a fully capable client with HDMI and VGA connectors. 24TB storage capacity allows long term video retention. The RED3 IS includes 16 or 24 channels of fully licensed CompleteView VMS software, 3 years of software updates and a 3-year warranty. Canon
Canon U.S.A. introduced the VB-H652LVE, its new infrared outdoor-ready Fixed Dome Network Camera which has a vandal-resistant, water-tight housing and optional heater unit making it suitable for installation in many climates. It is equipped with four built-in IR illuminators that enable video to be captured in little to no visible light, and an Auto Focus function for clear focusing on subjects both near and far away. It offers analog video output and installation controls for simple camera positioning during installation, and multiple power options including 24 V AC, 12 V DC, PoE and PoE+ provide further installation flexibility.
DATA-TRONIX
DATA-TRONIX announced a new hardware-based system for the distribution of HD audio/video content over existing IP networks. This solution means properties can now utilize the existing IP infrastructure to add HD video distribution without the additional expense of installing new wiring. The VidCasterIP system is designed for use in a wide variety of applications such as sports books, arenas, convention centers, conference rooms, retail, bars, and restaurants with large TV systems. Operation is as simple and intuitive as using an iPad or PC. The VidCasterIP system can be scaled to a matrix size of 40 HD inputs and as many as 176 HD display screens.

It uses Credentialed High Assurance Video Encryption (CHAVE™) technology to provide highly secure identification and authentication through multi-factor smart card credentials. Videotec have launched the ULISSE2, a new Full-IP generation of the renowned ULISSE PTZ range for outdoor surveillance. Completely reengineered to give the absolute maximum performance, the new ULISSE2 PTZ offers complete management of all IP ONVIF-S third-party cameras, both visible and thermal imaging, with direct access via a browser to the camera’s interface for setup and diagnostics, as a single IP address. The full-IP connectivity, with ONVIF-S protocol, allows you to control P&T positioning plus all camera functions, including the wiper, washer pump, presets, illuminators activation and setup through the network using the most popular VMS on the market.
