They represent a breakthrough in light sensitivity in cameras, showing color images where others can show only monochrome and transmitting monochrome video when others show no image at all. With their high sensitivity in both color (0.017 lux) and monochrome (0.0057 lux) modes, the HD cameras work with minimal ambient light, delivering clear images in a multitude of applications, even where poor lighting is the principle challenge. The 60 frames-per-second rate also helps capture fast-moving objects in traffic, gaming and other applications.

The Ganz PixelPro Series, a full line of HD-optimized, IP cameras has added new models with the capability to produce clearer images in extremely low-light environments. The new bullet, indoor dome, outdoor dome and 20x PTZ dome all feature better low-light performance and finer picture quality. The bullet model features a built-in, 3-9mm Varifocal and 42 IR LEDs for over 100’ of illumination. It is IP66-rated for all weather performance and has a built-in fan and heater. A mounting bracket and sunshield are also included.

Many new features have been added to Axxon Next 3.1, making workflows more efficient, which improves ease-of-use, reduces server and client resource use and slims the bandwidth footprint. Green Stream is a core innovation for more efficient resource use. The Green Stream feature automatically chooses a video stream from a camera to the server, and then to the client, depending on the resolution at which the video is currently displayed on the client. A "lighter" stream saves bandwidth and client CPU resources. Another feature for efficiency concerns the Camera Tampering and Failure Detection tools: only keyframes (H.264, MPEG) or frames down sampled at 2 fps (MJPEG) are decoded, not the entire video stream. This reduces the burden on the video server CPU and allows handling more video channels on a single server.
