Sentry VMS Mobile is free mobile app that provides users with VMS control from most Apple and Android mobile devices. Support for the mobile app is built directly into the Sentry VMS platform and requires no additional dedicated mobile servers to be added to the network to deliver this functionality. The app provides secure, user-authenticated access to live and recorded video from any camera on the network. Sentry VMS Mobile mirrors many of the settings and features established within the thick client, including facility maps, layouts and camera lists, using the same left navigational menu already familiar to system users.

This platform offers Enhanced Super Dynamic technology enabling a 133dB video dynamic range, and delivering strong performance in challenging lighting conditions. The Video Door Internet Enabling Kit (CM2001) is a video security system that automatically sends e-mail alerts and/or a live video feed to any web-connected device whenever the door bell is pressed. Designed to be easily integrated into On-Q’s Selective Call Intercom system, the Video Door Internet Enabling Kit is also compatible with any analog camera. When the front door bell is triggered, it automatically captures an image of whoever is standing within view of the camera. It then e-mails that image to one or multiple e-mail addresses, creating a permanent record of who’s been at your door.

The cameras also feature a built-in microphone and two-way audio functionality, as well as easy installation and configuration that are guaranteed by the cameras’ PoE functionality and preconfigured user modes.

Advanced Technology Video announces the release of its new vandal dome camera with an option for infrared illumination. The camera, CZ6T2812UWC(I), is the newest addition to the ATV Ultimate Series product line. 600TVL color resolution, advanced digital noise reduction, sense-up (512v) for low-light applications with a 2.8, 12 mm vari-focal auto-iris lens. The IR version is equipped with 33 LEDs for 0-lux operation. Both versions support IP68 rating and come with a built-in heater for harsh conditions, and is enclosed within a high-impact resistant vandal dome housing, which makes it a good choice for a wide range of applications.

VIEVU has announced the availability of its LE3 wearable cameras. It is a secure HD video camera designed for law enforcement use and evidence standards. It has a combination of speed/functionality, ease-of-use for the end user. Designed by cops, for cops, it is a small, lightweight video recorder about the size of a pager, and can easily be worn on the uniform. The LE3 was built to make operation simple, such as its simple lens slide cover that acts as an on/off switch for easy activation in stressful situations.

Swan Security is introducing D1 high definition technology that records video 4 times larger and clearer than traditional security cameras, without sacrificing real time recording and live viewing. SwannLink app syncs cameras with tablet or smartphone for remote viewing. It records in color during the day and black and white at night, using IR LEDs. DVRs 500GB hard drive allow for “set and forget” functionality for up to 30 days of continuous recording, motion-activated feature extends continuous recording time.
